Lisa is a co-founder and the CEO of foundry10, a philanthropic educational research organization. She has a Masters degree in Education and was a classroom teacher for 10 years. She is actively involved in the research and community endeavors at foundry10 which span a wide array of arts and technology-based programs. An avid gamer she has a particular interest in the role commercial games and commercial VR content can play in learning. Through her work at foundry10 she helps provide virtual reality equipment to schools across the United States and Canada so that students from a variety of backgrounds can have access to this emerging technology. Her work in VR is centered on both applied and experimental studies in an effort to better understand what makes content more accessible, useful and understanding to a wide range of users.
